| Day 01: | Nagpur to Pench National Park | |
We leave Nagpur for Pench National Park at 10 a.m. This is a drive of approximately 2 hours and we aim to reach early in the afternoon. Post-lunch, we set out on our first game drive into the park. The beautiful Pench Tiger Reserve is nestled in the southern part of the Satpura Hills and is named after the Pench River that flows through it. In addition to Tigers, the area is famous for large herds of Gaur (Indian Bison), Chital, Sambar, Nilgai, Wild Dog and Wild Pig. • Meals: Lunch & Dinner • Accommodation: Pench Jungle Camp • Included Activity: Afternoon Game Drive |

| Day 02: | Pench National Park | |
An early morning safari with picnic breakfast marks the start of the second day. We will return to the lodge for lunch, after whichwe go on an afternoon game drive. A delicious dinner will be waiting for you after you get back from Pench. If the Elephant mahouts are able to track a Tiger, you may have the opportunity to ride on an Elephant to have a closer look at them. (Subject to availability). | Day 3: | Pench National Park to Kanha National Park | |
Today, after an early breakfast, we bid goodbye to Pench and travel to Kanha National Park. This is a drive of approximately five hours and we will try to reach around noon in time for lunch. We will then set out an afternoon game drive and return to the lodge at dusk. Our day ends with a bonfire night, a delicious meal and a display of local culture in the form of the foot tapping Baiga tribal dance. We advise you to end your day soon after dinner as the next two days have an early start. Kanha National Park is a beautiful reserve that is rich in wildlife. It encompasses lush meadows, thick forests and water bodies. As you enter, the subtle fragrance of the Sal forest and the incessant sound of cicada will captivate you. Kanha is home to the rare hard ground Barasingha or Swamp Deer. You might also see spotted Deer, Sambar Deer, Langurs, Leopards and Dholes (Wild Dogs). If the Elephant mahouts are able to track a Tiger, you may have the opportunity to ride on an Elephant to have a closer look at them. | Day 4/5: | Kanha National Park | |
Our exploration of Kanha National Park will continue on days 4 and 5. We begin both these exciting days with early morning safaris and picnic breakfasts. After lunch at the lodge, we will head into the wilderness once more until dusk. If the Elephant mahouts are able to track a Tiger, you may have the opportunity to ride on an Elephant to have a closer look at them.
