Day 01: Kolkata  
 
Our representative will meet you at the Dum Dum Airport at Kolkata and transfer you to your hotel. We advise you to get adequate rest today as the next few days will be packed with excitement and adventure!

Day 02: Kolkata to Nameri National Park    
 
We take a morning flight to Guwahati. Our representative will meet you at Guwahati and we will drive for about 4 hours, to reach the Nameri National Park. The Nameri National Park is located at the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in Assam. It is best known for its high density of Elephants. Other than the Elephant, the park is also home to the Tiger, Leopard, Sambar Deer, Wild Dog, Hog Deer, Muntjac, Wild Boar, Sloth Bear, Himalayan Black Bear and Capped Langur. Nameri is a birdwatcher’s paradise and is a must visit for all ornithologists! The birds that can be seen here include the White Winged Wood Duck, four distinct species of Hornbill, Blue-bearded Bee-eater, Babbler and Plover.

Day 03: Nameri National Park  
 
Today we go on a full day birdwatching trek into Nameri. This will be followed by water rafting in the park.

Day 04: Nameri National Park to Manas National Park  
 
After breakfast, we will head for Manas Tiger Reserve which is about 7 hours drive from Nameri. Manas is a lovely UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is home to a rich variety of wildlife that includes the Tiger, Pygmy Hog, Indian Rhinoceros, Assam Roofed Turtle, Hispid Hare, Golden Langur and Indian Elephant. Manas is also famous for birds such as the Bengal Florican.

Day 05: Manas National Park  
 
We leave in the morning for a day-long wildlife expedition with a conservation team. We explore the Eastern Core of Manas and also visit the park’s patrolling camps and conservation centers. We return to our camp in the evening.
You will be introduced to the conservation efforts taken up in Manas by one of the conservation project coordinators. Today’s dinner can be a once in a lifetime experience, where you can taste the local cooking prepared by the villagers. All ingredients used are from the village’s unique organic farm. Please note that this is seasonal and subject to availability.

Day 06: Manas National Park to Kaziranga National Park  
 
We bid goodbye to Manas and drive for about 7 hours along a picturesque route to Kaziranga National Park.
Kaziranga is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This 470 square kilometer national park has tall elephant grass and lush green flood plains, and is home to a rich variety of wildlife. Here you are likely to spot birds like Greater Adjutants, Bengal Floricans, Pallas’s Fish Eagles and Black-necked Storks. Kaziranga’s larger inhabitants include the Greater Asian One-horned Rhinoceros, Asian Elephant, Asiatic Water Buffalo and the majestic Royal Bengal Tiger.

Day 07/08: Kaziranga National Park  
  The next two days will be action packed! We leave early in the morning to explore the Central and Western Ranges of Kaziranga. We will ride on elephant backs for about 45 minutes and get a bird’s eye view of the park. We will return to the resort for breakfast and after breakfast, we set out once again for a game drive in an open topped vehicle. We return to the resort for lunch and another game drive is scheduled for after lunch.

Day 09: Kaziranga National Park to Kolkata  
 

After breakfast, we drive to Guwahati airport to board a flight to Kolkata. Our representative will meet you at the Kolkata airport and will transfer you to your hotel.

Day 10: Kolkata  
 

Our tour ends today. You have the day to yourself; you can spend the day relaxing at your hotel or exploring this fascinating city, before heading out to the airport for your flight back home. Kolkata is the capital city of the Indian state of West Bengal. It is known as the cultural capital of India and is the third most populous metropolitan area in India. The city is dotted with colonial buildings as it served as the capital of India during the British Raj until 1911. The Victoria Memorial, St. Paul’s Cathedral etc., are fine examples of the beautiful colonial architecture of Kolkata.
